I’m an urban farmer, an entrepreneur, and a mother of 3, and I’m running to protect the future of working families in Clark County.
If you recognize me, it’s probably because you’ve seen me at the Vancouver Farmers Market. My business is Hearth and Hollow, a micronursery where I grow organic edible plant starts and provide educational resources to help families grow their own food. Many people don’t realize you can use SNAP benefits to buy seeds and edible plants, and I only know that because when I was 20, I was on government assistance myself, a college student from a rough background trying to give her baby a better life.
With social services being gutted at the federal level, we have a moral responsibility to protect each other at the local level. Since the 2025 inauguration, I’ve been reorienting my life around that belief, first by starting Hearth & Hollow and now by running for office.
We deserve representation that actually listens and understands the real lived consequences of bad policy: that people go hungry, unhoused, and get priced out not because they didn’t work hard enough, but because the people making those decisions didn’t care enough to keep them in mind.
As the only working-class candidate in my race, trust me when I say that I will never forget.I promise to hold the line on farmland and green space, work to ban data and detention centers, and do what it takes to keep our water clean and neighbors safe.

I love Clark County, and I’m deeply concerned about the rising costs facing working families, seniors, and people living paycheck to paycheck. Too many good people are being pushed out of their homes and neighborhoods because the government keeps making life more expensive. Clark County deserves leadership that prioritizes real affordability—not just political slogans.
I was born and raised in Clark County and graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School. I’ve built successful local businesses, creating jobs, supporting nonprofits, and I remain heavily invested in our community. My experience solving complex problems and producing real-world results is exactly the kind of practical leadership our County needs right now.
I support a “tax-last” approach focusing on responsible budgeting before asking taxpayers to pay more. We need strong public safety, practical transportation solutions, balanced growth policies, and compassionate but accountable approaches to homelessness and addiction. I also support policies that encourage small business growth, protect local jobs, and promote affordable, reliable renewable energy solutions.

I didn’t get into public service through politics—I got into it by seeing where systems weren’t working for real people.
As a small business owner, I’ve worked directly with homeowners and families trying to navigate systems that can be frustrating and inefficient. As a foster parent—and through years of family involvement serving meals to people experiencing homelessness—I’ve seen firsthand how complex and urgent many of our community’s challenges really are.
I’ve also served for several years on the board of our local chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), working to support individuals and families navigating mental health challenges.
Since taking office, my role has shifted from direct service to working on the systems behind these issues—focusing on housing, coordination, and making sure our response is actually working.
At a certain point, it became clear that it wasn’t enough to just see the problems—I wanted to be part of fixing them.
