Welcome to Clark County Tomorrow. We are an independent news, commentary, and community watchdog platform dedicated to looking beneath the surface of local government, corporate influence, and civic life in Southwest Washington.

Who We Are

We aren’t a multi-million-dollar media conglomerate, and we aren’t backed by corporate interest groups.

Clark County Tomorrow is run entirely by a small group of local volunteers. We are your neighbors, your coworkers, and your fellow residents. We live in the cities, suburbs, and rural corners of Clark County, and we share a common belief: a community is only as strong, safe, and free as it is informed.

Why We Exist

In an era where institutional media buyouts and shifting ownership threaten the objectivity of our local press, critical stories are increasingly left untold. Our mission is to fill that gap.

We cut through the polished public relations statements to bring you unvarnished truths about the decisions impacting your backyard—from the council chambers of Battle Ground to the broader landscape of Clark County. We believe that:

  • Transparency is Non-Negotiable: Local elected officials serve the public, not corporate agendas or theological frameworks.
  • Accountability Keeps Us Safe: We investigate and report on ethics, taxpayer-funded protections, and conflicts of interest.
  • Belonging is a Radical Act: We believe our county is at its best when everyone—regardless of background, identity, or belief—is safe, seen, and celebrated exactly as they are.

What We Do

  • Investigative Reporting: Tracking corporate influence, real estate consolidation, and local political shifts.
  • Municipal Watchdogging: Monitoring city council meetings, keeping an eye on public spending, and ensuring municipal policies serve the community fairly.
  • Amplifying Local Voices: Providing a platform for community members to stay informed, organize, and advocate for an ethical, accountable local government.
